Description
The standard A2 Birdcage flash hider is a classic, closed prong flash hider with slight compensating properties which has been in service for decades. First coming into service with the M-16A2 model, this flash hider has been used by the military for many decades now. Dollar for dollar, the A2 bird cage offers the most bang for the buck when it comes to minimizing muzzle flash and reducing muzzle climb from recoil.
The birdcage design is closed on the bottom to minimuze dust signature when firing from the prone position. Featuring 4140 Steel with a Black Oxide finish for corrosion resistance.
Crush Washer or Peel Washer required.
