Description
The Can Cannon is a patented 100% BATFE legal launcher for your AR-15 / M16 rifle (you can view and print the full BATF approval letter by (clicking this link). Designed to launch soda cans and similarly sized projectiles including tennis balls, whipping cream, shaving cream, paint cans, t-shirts, and X Products approved accessories: Grappling Hook, Launcher Cups, Balls, and Spear Fishing Accessory.
How It Works
The Can Cannon operates via a proprietary gas tube, with a blocking bar that prevents live ammunition from being loaded. When a blank is chambered and fired the proprietary tube diverts the high-pressure gas vertically into a larger tube. The volume of the larger tube reduces the high-pressure gas, preventing it from destroying relatively delicate projectiles like a soda can. When fired at an optimum angle (approximately 45 degrees) a soda can reach an average distance of 105 yards! Safety + Performance
Manufactured with Safety and Precision, the Can Cannon tube is formed using an impact extrusion. The precision process creates a near perfect concentric 2.62 inch monolithic tube with a +- tolerance of .003 thousandths, providing a perfect gas fit around projectiles, minimizing gas leaks while maximizing shooting performance and safety. Impact extrusion parts are dense, porous-free, and stronger than other metal-forming techniques thanks to the resulting highly uniform metal grain alignment that produces superior quality and durability. The impact process naturally hardens non-heat-treatable alloys. There are no fire cracks, pores, or parting lines to weaken the part.

Projectile options are only limited by your creativity and local laws, many customers are 3D printing projectiles making the impossible, possible. Our BATFE approved design is not considered a Destructive Device or a firearm, and does not change the designation of your existing firearm. Each unit is sold as an assembled upper with receiver, headspaced and mounted ported barrel, and pressure tube. The system is compatible with all AR-15 / M-16 mil standard charging handles, and bolt carriers, it will also work with most piston bolt carriers.
